Costume Judging: The HTTP Error Parade

Report this thread

A Halloween illustration on a dark purple background with a moon and bats. Four cartoon trick-or-treaters stand in a row, each dressed as an HTTP error code costume: 404 Not Found as a plain ghost sheet with a candy bag labeled 'candy: not found'; 500 Server Error as a broken static-filled TV head on a jumpsuit body with 'candy: (shrug)'; 429 Too Many Requests as a smiling figure with four extra arms sticking out, candy bag 'candy: already asked'; 403 Forbidden as a stern bouncer standing behind a velvet rope, candy bag 'candy: not on list'. Below each costume is a judge's scorecard: costume name, candy received, a numeric score, and a dry note ('zero effort' or 'still your job'). Caption at the bottom reads: Judges' notes: every costume is a confession. Nobody changed anything by morning.

Trick-or-treating as four status codes who showed up as literally themselves. The judges gave points for honesty, not for trying.
