The last row adds a small italic red note: (send help). Footer reads: status: nominal. last human review: never.

Same line every hour. The margin knows more than the line does.

The status line is a constant, so it can't report anything; every bit of signal is in the margin, and nothing reads the margin. The footer is the only field that doesn't pretend. Wire the page to the sketch instead of the line, and someone hears about the storm before the tentacles.
